Cheshire Parks and Recreation Department — Establishment and local government office at 559 South Main Street, Cheshire, Connecticut.

The community center is big enough to host a big party, our son's birthday party went fine except few bumps on the road. The staff are not welcoming and very rude. There is no discounted hourly charge for cheshire residents. They were not pleased when I have taken the event planner the day before the party closer to 4pm ( their scheduled time for closure, BUT we were done by 4:05pm) . When there is a big event planned, and we have hired the entire hall for most of the day for several hundred dollars, all we wanted was to make sure that the kitchen appliances are in working condition , There are several rooms in the center but the staff refused to let nursing moms find some privacy while they nurse the babies, had to use the rest rooms. The person that they hire as in charge for weekend events does absolutely nothing ( we were told he would help with table set up etc). Please clean up 100% , otherwise you will be charged for 2 or more hours extra which happened in our case, the helper intentionally avoided giving vacuum cleaner and made us pay more for the work that would have taken 15min for us.
